Technical writing is used for positive purpose because it is accurate structure.it is opposite to the three groups of poor writing which includes : literary prose; which is possessed by few people, formal writing; which is failed because of its dull contents and tossed salad; which is full of ambiguous construction.

This essay is based on correcting an individual mistake in tech writing. While writing, first draft is “prepare an outline” which indicate organization and content of paper. Outline includes all the sections and points to the content of that section. A faulty outline to produce a document with ambiguous information for the reader. A word processor may help in arranging sections.

Make use of topic sentence at start of paragraph makes reader easy to understand the whole paragraph.

Transition from one paragraph to another should be smooth as they indicate the logical connection between the two paragraphs. This transition may be either in final sentence of first paragraph or in first paragraph of following unit. Helping phrases can be used to indicate.

Revision of the first draft is the arduous but fundamental step. Individual sentence structure and vocabulary is checked at this point. For this, knowledge of English grammar is necessary which can be acquired by many well-written books.

Sentences should not have any sort of grammatical ambiguity. Make sure of the correct use of modifiers so that reader can understand your lengthy sentences. Another mistake arise's when adjective phrases are separated from their noun. By making full use of a grammatical diversity of English, more information in a more clear way is conveyed to a reader.

Good sentence formation serves as a key role in writing. Parallelism should be observed while writing because equivalent ideas need equivalent expression.

First draft should be recast to improve its structure and smoothness. Smoothness includes clear relationship between sentence and transparent sentence structure.

Vocabulary refinement adds beauty to your writing. Repetition of words should be avoided. In case of necessary repletion the words can be replaced by their synonyms.

Final step consists of rereading of revised copy to make sure that everything is perfect. Pronouns, verbs, tenses and spellings are checked. A General principle of writing is to check the form for the inter-relationship of ideas at each level.
